Therapist, Coach & Creative

With a curiosity for people, and a talent for shape-shifting, my portfolio career consists of almost two decades’ community building and creative management experiences across the commercial, cultural and support sectors.

I started my career as a trained performance-maker, writing and producing creative projects in theatres, circuses, forests, boats, castles, coffee shops and everything in between. I have a fascination with stories: the ones we tell each other, the ones we tell ourselves, the ones we want to change and the ones that are yet to be made.

Following my training in Integrative Counselling & Coaching (University of East London, 2023) I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and am fortunate to journey alongside therapeutic and coaching clients through their unique stories.

ABOUT MY PRACTICE

I offer three different approaches: Therapy, Coaching, and a blend of both.

I work integratively, and collaboratively, which means that all sessions are tailored for and with you; I blend a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what you would benefit most from that day. These include, psychodynamic, gestalt, transactional analysis and CBT. I work with the belief that the client is the expert, and my role is to facilitate the discovery of insights and learnings.

I’m not the kind of practitioner that just listens and nods; in our sessions you can expect compassion, curiosity, creativity and challenge.

This often involves us journeying through your experiences, relationships and beliefs to better understand what has been, and to consider what could be. Together we will also explore our relational dynamic - as practitioner & client - providing an opportunity to practice how you would like to connect and communicate beyond the therapy room.

I am known for my warm, deeply empathetic and grounded approach.

Alongside my private practice, I work with a charity that supports adoptive families and am a solo parent by choice. Both professionally and personally, I champion the many ways that ‘family’ might be built, whilst also recognising the complexities that surround this for all involved.

If it appeals to you to speak more, I offer a free 15-minute intro call to explore how we might best work together. Please email to book.
